The Greater Bluffton Republican Club is pleased to announce that our next meeting will be held at Local Pie Bluffton 15 State of Mind St. on Wednesday, April 1st, 2020.

We are extremely excited to have Beaufort County Treasurer, Maria Walls joining us. Come meet Mrs. Walls and listen to an update on Beaufort County’s fiscal health.

January 14, 2020: Lowcountry Speaker Series Condoleezza Rice, Tuesday, January 14, 2020, Marriott Hilton Head Resort & Spa – 1 Hotel Circle, HHI, SC 29928, Lowcountry Speaker Series Presents Condoleeza Rice, Secretary of State (2005-2009)

January 22, 2020: The Lowcountry Human Trafficking Task Force will host a
community address Jan. 22 at the Bluffton Library. January is National Human Trafficking Awareness Month. The community address will be held from 10 a.m. – noon in the large conference room at the Bluffton Library, 120 Palmetto Way. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. The program will start promptly at 10 a.m. State and local officials will provide updates, trends and a forecast in the fight against human
trafficking. S.C. Attorney General Alan Wilson is scheduled to be the event’s keynote speaker. Other presenters will include 14th Circuit Solicitor Duffie Stone; Capt. Shane Roberts of the Colleton County Sheriff’s Office; and Roemeling, executive director of Fresh Start Healing Heart.   3. November 14th: Talk to Tom {Davis}. Fat Patties Restaurant –207 Bluffton Road, Bluffton , 5 – 6:30 p.m. Senator Tom Davis will host this public forum to discuss issues that include: widening/repairing I-95, increasing K-12 teacher salaries, reforming our state’s energy-production sector, building the ocean terminal planned for Jasper County, improving access to health care, cleaning up “Mt. Trashmore” and more! Senator Davis has held “TALK TO TOM” forums on a regular basis since he was elected to the Senate in 2008
